We are hiring a Journeyman Plumber!

 

Job Description: We are looking to hire a detail-oriented plumber to respond to service calls throughout our service area. Applicants should be skilled in maintaining the flow and drainage of water, air, and other gases by assembling, repairing, and installing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures. Ideal candidates should also have strong organizational and schedule/project management skills. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction should be your top priority.

 

Major Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

• Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.

• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, water softeners, etc.

• Repair dishwashers and kitchen equipment that incorporate gas or water consumption.

• Receive, manage, and complete work orders.

• Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.

• Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.

• Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials.

• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.

• Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment following established inspection procedures.

• Respond to emergency calls as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent

• Journeyman plumber license

• 2+ years experience as a plumber preferred

• Willingness to continue education in field

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work in confined spaces
